Our History

American Industrial Gases is a privately owned packaged gases and supply distributor based in Texas. The principals of AIG have been operating welding supply and gases distributorships as owners for more than 70 years. The family firms our ownership is derived from were started by our fathers after World War II and they built their businesses by servicing each customer with timely deliveries of quality products at a fair price. The same customer focused approach is what we are building at AIG. The principals have come together to start American using the same formula that made our family businesses successful. Treat every single customer, regardless of size and volume, with outstanding service and reliability.
